Bridge Therapy Services is located in Bracebridge, Ontario for in-person appointments and online for virtual appointments to all residents of Ontario. We specialize in working with individuals, Couples/Partnerships, and Families.

Bridge Therapy Services is an anti-oppressive and equitable practice that is looking to grow by adding like-minded therapists to our small team. It is our goal to provide client-centered, theory-based and relational counselling to individuals, couples/partnerships, and families.

Job Description

We are currently looking to add experienced part-time or full-time independent contractors to our growing practice. The successful candidate will be a masters-level practitioner or BSW with extensive clinical experience, who are registered in good standing with their respective Colleges, to provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy. Flexible schedule with make-your-own-hours which can include daytime, evening, and weekends.

This is a contract position and you will be hired as an independent contractor for in-person and/or virtual appointments. Upon being hired and prior to beginning sessions, you will be responsible for registration with the OCSWSSW or CRPO, providing a recent (within 3 months) Police and Vulnerable Sector Check, obtaining Liability Insurance, and Business Registration.

The successful candidate will have:

Registration with the OCSWSSW or CRPO, in good standing
Experience in counselling and psychotherapy
A Masters Level of Social Work or Masters Level of Counselling Psychology; alternatively a Bachelor of Social Work and/or Social Service Work with extensive clinical experience will be considered.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities in practice which may include, but is not limited to: CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy
Flexibility and interpersonal skills for relationship focused practice
Clinical competence to provide structured counselling/therapy/psychotherapy in the areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, addictions, life transitions, attachment, and/or stress
Ability to work in person and/or remotely with a confidential and professional environment for video calls
Detail oriented and organized in note taking and records management whereby ensuring that client records are kept up-to-date in our online records system
Ability to work independently and ask for assistance as needed
Dedicated interest in continued learning and education as it pertains to professional growth, in accordance with your registered College
The successful candidate will also be responsible for upholding the practice vision and values, ensuring offices are kept in a neat, tidy and clean order, and for ensuring all requirements of their respective colleges are met and upheld

Furnished office located in Bracebridge, Ontario
Virtual meeting platform, booking system, and records keeping platform
Advertising and referral support
Peer support and consultation as needed and appropriate
Competitive split for independent contractors
Flexible Schedule with the option to set your own hours
