Mitzi Beth Webb (she/her/hers), Therapist

My name is Mitzi Beth and I am a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), in good standing. I hold a Master of Social Work degree and a Honours Bachelor of Social Work degree from Lakehead University. I have also completed a Social Service Worker program and an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Criminology and Gender Studies.

I have experience supporting individuals over the age of 18 who have been impacted by gender-based violence, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, sexual assault, low self-esteem, grief, attachment disruptions, and mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression.

My Approach

Working from a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach is integral to my practice. My ongoing participation in training opportunities allows me to draw on different therapeutic modalities, depending on your needs.

I believe that therapy can help us be kinder to ourselves by allowing space for reflection, curiosity, self-compassion, and healing.

Mitzi Beth offers support to individuals 18+. Please note that at this time Mitzi Beth is unable to support individuals seeking specific support for sexual assault.

My name is Amanda and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences, Major in Criminology and Minor in Sociology. I have worked in the counselling field since 2016, initially in substance use treatment then moving into private practice.

I draw from multiple therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of my clients and have completed training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Somatic Therapy.

My Approach

My hope is to help my clients feel safe and accepted as they work toward a calmer mind. I firmly believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the springboard to healing, improved well-being, and achieving one’s innate potential. I would be happy to help you on your journey.

Amanda offers individual therapy to children, youth and adults. Please note that Amanda is currently only offering online virtual therapy but we are excited to announce that in October she will be offering both in-person and virtual sessions!

Nicole Prisciak (she/her/hers), Therapist

My name is Nicole and I am Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), in good standing. I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto with a focus on Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology as well as diplomas in Addictions Counselling and Children's Mental Health. I have been working in the field for over six years with experience in housing and food supports, addictions, and working with youth beginning at age seven (7) to the age of 25. I have been working within the addictions sphere for the last year and a half and am looking to expand into private practice in order to support as many people as I can.

My Approach
With all my clients I try to ensure that I am approaching everything from a trauma informed lens as well as working towards clients discovering their inner resiliency and strength. I believe that therapy is not here to "fix" us, but instead is here to help us understand ourselves better and how we can be the best version of ourselves at this current moment. I hope that we will be able to work together to create a plan that helps you feel the best you can.
